Elmhurst University and Arcadia University are pleased to announce a series of NSF funded faculty development workshops introducing Cybersecurity (CYS) and Information Assurance (IA) for high school teachers. The workshops are targeted to faculty interested in teaching cybersecurity.
The workshop will provide intensive hands-on experience in cybersecurity. The participants will learn how to integrate cyber knowledge and cyber skills following best practices into their high school curriculum. They will also be introduced to our toolkit which aids in introducing these topics into their classes, as well as pedagogical methods to interest students in cyber concepts.
The goal of this workshop is to educate and form a community of skilled educators, who may then work together to develop new modules and methodologies that can be shared with the community.
